June 2026 - Our team received an R01 from the National Cancer Institute. This grant aims to develop improved immunotherapy strategies for melanoma using our multifunctional ultrasound-responsive nanoparticles.

September 2025 – Our Lab received a DoD Idea Award from Peer Reviewed Cancer Program. This 2-year grant aims to develop effective chemotherapies for medulloblastoma to improve outcomes and reduce morbidities in pediatric patients. In this research, we are collaborating with Dr. Ramon Barajas’s Lab at OHSU.   

August 2025 - Our Lab received an R01 award from NIBIB. This 4-year grant aims to understand cancer-specificity of lipoprotein hitchhiking peptide amphiphiles and use them to chemotherapy delivery to different solid tumors.

June 2025 – Adem and Michael gave invited talks at Cancer Nanotechnology Gordon Research Conference in Italy. 

May 2025 - Our paper is published in Nano Letters! Congratulations! This work is also highlighted in OHSU and local news.
